- Fnordadel Forget Command Tutorial
-
- If the discussions in a room don't particularly turn you on, you can tell
- the BBS not to show you that room any more. To do so, [G]oto or .G(oto) that
- room, and then press the "Z" key. Citadel will forget that you've ever known
- about the room; it will cease to exist for you.
-
- Needless to say, you may not forget Lobby> or Mail>. All other rooms can be
- forgotten.
-
- A list of public (not private) rooms that you have forgotten can be
- summoned by using the extended command .Z in any room. The .G(oto) command
- can be used to return to a previously forgotten room -- just specify the full,
- exact room name. That room will return to your [K]nown rooms list and the
- [G]oto cycle.
-
- If you [Z] a normal private room, you can still get back to it using
- .G(oto), but you'll have to remember the correct name on your own, or ask
- somebody who knows what it is. If you [Z] an invitation-only private room,
- you can't get back into unless you're reinvited by an Aide or Sysop.
-
- If you are in floor mode (see .H(elp) FLOORS) you can forget entire floors
- full of rooms by using ";Z". Be careful, though; to unforget all of the rooms,
- you will have to .G(oto) back into each one of them.
